On Saturday we did field work at several locations and that made David very happy. On Sunday we did more field work but just cleaning up really and moving the backhoe to the new location. Later we tackled the back yard weed garden. I didn't get a before shot. Just imagine weeds so thick you could not see the fence and as high as about five feet. It was alot of work. Charolette slept most of the time and then she came out with us and played in the sand box. I finaly got the walking path in through the gate to next yard. Looks great. David put pee gravel around the stones. The stepping path stones off the deck look better also. Weeds had grown up all around them. Pulled them up. Put weed barrier down and filled in. My fountain is not out because it is broken from the winter. It will be out as soon as David fixes it.
This is still on the "To Do" list. The other side is the side we had done. But this gives you an idea of what it looked like when we started. Just this one and another one the right that I still has to get done.
I love spring. I love finding bird nests and then waiting to see when they leave. This lest was full of three eggs and now they are gone. We also have one nest on our front porch that the robin has come back to for three springs. This year it had 4 eggs and when they were young birds they stuffed the nest. They left as well.
This is our veggy garden. Small but full. Next year it will be in a different spot and much bigger.
Just some camera play and depth. This is out 20 yard grape vine. Maybe this year I will get around to canning some grape juice.
These are some of my hostas in my side flower garden. They are growing and getting big. It's just about time to split them. That will wait till next spring though.

I just snapped this picture of Old Glory. What a great holiday weekend it was. I pray that everyone had a great weekend as we did.
